How It Works

Connected in minutes, anywhere in the world.

No physical SIM. No carrier store. No roaming surprises. Just pick your destination, scan a QR code, and you're online.

Three Easy Steps

1. Choose Your Plan

Browse eSIM plans by destination or region. Select the data size and duration that works for your trip — from a 1-day pass to a 30-day regional plan. We cover 190+ countries.

2. Receive Your QR Code

Within seconds of purchase, your eSIM QR code is delivered to your email inbox. No waiting, no shipping, no SIM card in the post.

3. Scan & Connect

Open your phone's eSIM settings, scan the QR code, and you're done. Your Nomad eSIM activates automatically when you arrive at your destination.

Your Home Number Isn't Going Anywhere

This is the most common question we get — and the answer is simple:

An eSIM runs alongside your existing SIM card. Your current number stays fully active for calls and texts. The Nomad eSIM handles your data while abroad, so you avoid expensive roaming charges without giving anything up.

Think of it as adding a second line — temporarily — just for data.

  • ✅ Keep your existing number for calls & texts
  • ✅ Use Nomad eSIM for local data rates abroad
  • ✅ Switch between them in your phone settings anytime
  • ✅ No factory reset, no SIM swap, no hassle

Compatible Devices

eSIMs are supported by most modern smartphones, including:

  • iPhone XS and later (all models)
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 and later
  • Google Pixel 3 and later
  • Most modern iPads and select Android tablets

Your phone must be network unlocked to use a Nomad eSIM. If you purchased your phone outright (not on a carrier contract), it's almost certainly unlocked already. Check under Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock (iPhone), or contact your carrier.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it work when I land?

Yes — your eSIM activates automatically when your phone connects to a supported local network. We recommend scanning the QR code before you travel so it's ready the moment you land.

When does my data plan start?

Your data plan starts counting from the moment you connect at your destination — not when you install it. Install before you leave home and activate when you arrive.

Can I use two SIMs at the same time?

Yes. Most modern phones support Dual SIM mode — your home SIM handles calls and texts while the Nomad eSIM manages your data. Set this up in your phone's cellular settings.

What if I run out of data?

Simply purchase a new plan at nomadtelecom.co and you'll receive a new QR code instantly. No need to remove or reset your existing eSIM.

What if it doesn't work?

Contact us at support@nomadtelecom.co and we'll respond within 1 business day. Common fixes: enable data roaming for the eSIM line, disable roaming on your home SIM, or manually select a local network in your device's cellular settings.
